About Us

Chisholm Trail Chorus of Sweet Adelines International is a women's a cappella chorus that presents jazz vocals, choreographed pop tunes and award-winning harmony to the community through weekly education classes and frequent performances throughout Central Texas.

The chorus, directed by Carol Scherer, is comprised of Central Texas women from Temple, Belton, Troy, Copperas Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights, Lometa, Kempner, Rogers, Little River and Georgetown.

We share our talents by performing in many places, such as:

· Santa Fe Railroad Depot & Museum, Temple

· Assisted living centers and churches

· Bell County Museum

· Daughters of the Republic of Texas State Convention

· Temple Mall

· Baylor Scott & White Showcase

· HEB "Feast of Sharing" community banquet

· City of Temple’s Senior Citizens holiday banquet

High School and University music programs

Periodically, we invite musical groups from area schools to perform during our annual shows. Financial contributions are made to their programs to promote music education among our community's youth.

We support the arts and business through memberships with:

· Cultural Activities Center in Temple

· Temple Chamber of Commerce
